Dream number 1:
(This was some months ago)
The sky is blotted saffron and gold, like the robes of Buddhist monks or an African savannah during sunrise. You find yourself on the middle flyover at the intersection of C5 and Ortigas, by Tiendesitas and Iglesia ni Cristo, whic appears to be repainted and upgraded with all these white pipes that move around and sound like the doors in the early episodes of Star Wars. Libis to the right and Makati to the left. There remains nothing where the Iglesia building stands, as if the whole building were just picked up by its spires and hurled somewhere else. Tiendesitas is nothing but a wreck, with the ocasional geyser of fire-like jello things shooting out of the ruins. You don't see anybody walking around, no cars, no pedestrians, but suddenly out of nowhere a hooded white figure pats your shoulder and says that you should take the coming train. It then dissapears. As if on cue, an MRT car approaches from the first flyover (C5) apparently heading to Ortigas/Edsa. Since there's nothing to do anyway, you take your chances. The train looks like it won't stop, so you decide to just jump it, since you are on a flyover above it. You bundle up your courage (and fear of heights) and jump off, closing your eyes. You're perfectly sure you made your jump the right time and would've landed on the MRT, but you still feel like falling. Sure enough, it's like you fell through the train. And the flyover. Once you hit what you think is ground, you black out. When you regain conciousness, you don't feel hurt or traumatized. Like you just decided to lie down on the floor. Strangely enough, you see blood on the floor, below you, as if you did in fact break something. But you feel fine. Once your eyes get used to the surroundings, you relize you've landed on the drivewy of Berea. The sky is saffron no more and just a normal sky-blue with normal clouds. Kuya Ivan (There was more to this in the dream but it makes me uncomfortable to write it down. Actually no, I have no problem writing it down, but it just sounds REALLY AWKWARD. so nevermind. forget what he was wearing.) Walks to you and pulls you up, by the arm. "Are you okay?" Says he, as you (what's "make pagpag" in english? whatever. insert that verb here) you pants, which are strangely dusty. The dust ends up in the air and turn into dragonflies which fly away. Kuya Ivan gives you a usual-kuya-ivan-in-berea-ish hug and tells you to get to class.

Dream number 2:
(I believe this was two days ago)
You find yourslef (again!) in Berea, arts buliding to be specific, talking to Miss Irene about getting something from your locker. You jet off through the hallway as some people who you recognize as your underclassmen say hi or give you a high-five. When you walk to the bridge, suddenly, in pop-up book animation, flower beds pop out and two other buildings on either side of you animate in cartoon motion. The bridge expands and turns into a garden/courtyard amidst buildings. You continue on walking to the Academic buliding. One different thing about the Academic building in the dream is that the stairs are not the at the far end of the building but just a black spriral staricase by the second door of the faculty room. You run down the stairs as if something were chasing you. The first floor is a train wreck. For some reason, the main opening to get in the buliding is replaced by a wall made of wood and glass, like the inside of the Coconut Palace or Figaro. Bits of plaster, cartolina and tarantula carcasses litter the floor. Daughtry music in the background, you slowly wade through the carnage and make your way to your locker. Strangely, nobody is in the whole building except for you and a freshman, who looks like he's just escaped from a mental hospital. His eyes are all beady and black and he repeatedly walks around, screaming "Chimpanzee!". It only takes you a few minutes to get fully freaked out. You scream (like a boy!) and run back upstairs.

It's going to be my first time at Youth Camp on friday, and I am terrified. It's not like I don't know anyone there, like Marika, Adria, Alexis, Joel, Liam, Kevin, Viel etc etx, it's just the whole "shuffling" thing that scares me. I don't know. It just came to me when I was chatting with Tim, as he was talking about buying digital slr cameras, using the (still large) amount of money he had left after buying a brand-new macbook. I've been told I was rich before, and I find myself telling the same to others. Suddenly a new chat window pops out with one of my underclassmen asking how to add movies to an iPod. A 30 GB one.

Well, I'm quite satisfied with my life right now, my normal, scratched and bulging second generation nano. I'm grateful for my twitchy possessed Motorola Rokr (same as hers). I'm definately happy with my digicam. I guess all you do is not compare yourself with others and count your own blessings. I'm pretty impressed with what I have here. Of course, my Mac mini (o grabe mac pa 'no?) is still broken, and can't really be fixed at a cheaper price than replacing it (sheeesh). I better take GOOD CARE of things next time. I learned a lesson here :D

Well, even for someone who has more than enough, I guess one can't help but wish he has THIS or owned THAT. Look at Liam. I remember him talking, though slightly exageratingly, about why "gadgets" don't matter so much on the van en route to enchanted kingdom. I guess he's right. We don't have to give so MUCH value to material stuff. Liam himself is quite happy with a just good drawing book and pencils. I guess life's not really going to be satisfying if you chase after things you can't really have.

I don't have to be curled up, going online on an über-cool MacBook Pro (of my own. Actually I'm using one, but it isn't mine :D ) while sipping a venti frap in the latest fashion. I can be happy reading a bargain book with my own homemade soymilkshake and a hand-painted shirt.

Isn't life so randomly beautiful when left simple and uncluttered?

When her eyes got accustomed to the darkness, she saw Yanna and Mishka beside her. They were not bound, but they were obviously inside a plane, locked and all. Feeling around, her hand hit a switch. Thinking this was the light, she flicked it on.

Not only did the lights go on, which woke the other two, but the plane started shaking.

Jem then did realize that not only were they in a plane, and were not tied up or gagged, but there was nobody else there besides the three of them.

And she had just turned autopilot off.
