A day without glasses may as well be a day without rain sometime in monsoon-y July, unless we depend on rapid climate change.

Um, Yeah, so I broke my glasses (they were a twisted ugly pair anyway) at around 1 PM in the parking lot in Park Square in Makati. Of course, as usual I could see okay, it's just that my head starts to ache after a while. Which eventually happened. I ate ice cream too, which I think either eases the aching or just makes it worse.

I just tried to bear with it. Eventually, the aching ceased. That day we were headed to Power Books Live in Greenbelt so I could buy books (and read a bit, as we were waiting for my dad to be dismissed from work so we could all take the same car). I noticed, at the customer service, there were like BOXES of reserved Stephenie Mayer books. Like, whoa. I know even my math teacher likes twilight. "Necrophilia is in", she says.

I went around looking for the usual, which were the next installments in the Griffin and Sabine Series and the Nodame Cantabile Series. I almost bought twilight since I couldn't find where the Nodame Cantabile was. Apparently it was in the "Adult Graphic Novels Section". Weird. How come Negima! and Love Hina were the ones I found in the kiddie manga shelf. Pshh. I've never seen so much (insert swear word) in my life. It's the Ken Akamatsu novels that are hentai and not the Tomoko Ninomiya ones. (insert swear word here), I even saw Tenjo Tenge(correct spelling ba?) in the Kids' section. I'd rather read some stupid Meyer book (which would kill me, but at least there's no panty-flashing or explicit Yuri action unlike other books.) *Sigh* Kids today...

What were we talking about? Oh yes, glasses. That was Thursday, it's now Saturday. Guess I'll be going to the swimming thing without glasses. Ahwell. No hassle.
